So sorry for your loss. Bucky always spoke lovingly of your mom. Someone once told me that if you look up to the stars, the one that is twinkling brightest to you, is person you lost just letting you know they are happy and watching over you.

I have memories of the Buchanan’s going back 55 years…. everybody was little, young and moving into a brand new neighborhood. We lived one street over and would cut thru the neighbors yards to the Buchanan’s, and when the fences came, we climbed the fence. Mr. Buchanan had a nickname for Mrs. and I can still see and hear him call her “Zeek.” Is that correct Ronnie and Bill? They had a Packard when they moved to Kings Park and there was always very cool stuff in their garage. Mrs. Buchanan was very much an artist and she was the only person I ever knew who could decorate a hubcap and have it hanging in her dining room and looking like it belonged there (the Buchanan’s home was always a beautiful place). I could write for pages… I miss those days and feel blessed to have a zillion memories. God speed to all. Carter
