Fishersville, VA — Kevin Burton Linehan, 62, died Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia after suffering from a stroke.
He leaves his companion dog, Smoke; his sister, Allison Linehan Garcia, her son, Daniel Linehan Bohnlein, and husband, Mike Garcia; his children, Rebecca, Neal and Lon Seidlitz; his sister-in-law, Marilyn Burns and husband, Stan, and their two children, Paul Burns and wife, Kelly, and their children Jonathan and Alex and Beth Meyer and husband, Eddie, and their children, Tristan and Sydney; four grandchildren, Max, Dylan and Tyler Seidlitz and Courtney Smith and many close friends.
Kevin grew up in Arlington, Virginia where he met the love of his life, Arleen Linehan, now deceased. They resided in Virginia Beach and were married for 34 years. Well known for his love of cars, Kev worked as a mechanic in Virginia Beach then built his own shop in the Outer Banks of North Carolina during the mid 1980s. He eventually ended up in the mountains of Western Virginia, a place where he and Arleen planned to retire.
Kevin was one of the good guys and was always willing to lend a hand to a friend or complete stranger. He was loved by many and will be missed by all!
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am, April 29, 2017 at the Columbia Gardens Cemetery, 3411 Arlington Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia. Friends may join the family after services at the home of his sister. 7325 Elmwood Drive, Falls Church, VA 22042
