I worked in the same unit as Jonard for over 20 years, and sat next to him for the past 15 … he was warm and sincere, always eager to laugh and to help – in short, the kind of person we need more of in this world. He is surely missed by all who knew him; I know I do. I wish his family strength in coping with their loss, and hope that they find consolation in knowing that he was admired by others.

I use to be Jonard’s co-worker/roommate/party buddy. I just spoke with him a month ago. I am very surprised to his passing.. He is/was a very good person. We used to go out back in Virginia.

I worked on the same floor with Jonard, but didn’t know his name. Instead, I knew his shy smile and friendly nature. Unlike some people, when I held a door for Jonard, he always smiled and thanked me — a small thing perhaps, but indicative to me of his goodness.
