To Katy, Michael, Henry & Manolo,
We will be with you Saturday to celebrate Joans life. She added such a delightful presence to all our family gatherings with her quick wit & joyful laughter! Michael was her pride & joy but it didn’t take long for Henry to steal the spotlight. Joan was a hard worker & loved all of her family very much and we all loved her! Rest In Peace Joan…

I wish i could take all this pain and sorrow from you, but for now I will offer my hand to hold and my shoulder to lean upon.
A great mother, wife and grandmother went to heaven, but this is not a goodbye because we will see you later my dear…

I know somewhat how hard this time is for you. Joanie was always counted on to help her friends when they were down. Who could resist her sense of humor and kindness? She always had your back. We haven’t kept in touch as much as we should have and that is my deepest regret. When we did talk recently she was so proud of all of you, especially Henry. She sent a video of him and I must say she wasn’t off the mark when she told me how fantastic he is. She will be missed by all and my hope is she is with Susan and we will all meet again. My prayers are with you to get you through this rough time. I will miss her always. Love, Leavey (Mary Scalera)
