Dukie Oh

Dukie Oh, 80, died February 4, 2018 at her home in Alexandria, Virginia. Mrs. Oh was born October 14, 1937 in Seoul, South Korea to the late Sang Guh Suh and Sook Ja Lee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ki Deuk Oh and her sisters, Jin Suh and Kyong Ja Suh. She emigrated to the United States in 1962, upon marriage to Louis Miller. Dukie was a resident of Claridge House in Alexandria, Virginia for over 25 years. At Claridge House, Dukie volunteered for many years to help residents in various matters, including serving as an interpreter and translator to Koreans in residence there. Mrs. Oh is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Miller of Dallas, Texas, Soo Yoo Kim of Seoul, South Korea and Siri Bauer of Arlington, Virginia and six grandchildren, including Gary Jackson of Charleston, South Carolina, Soojin Terry of Chatham, Virginia, Eric Bauer of Los Angeles, California and Lisa Bauer of Brooklyn, New York. A viewing and memorial service for Mrs. Oh will be held on Saturday, February 10 at 3:00 PM at Advent Funeral and Cremation Services, 7211 Lee Highway, Falls Church, Virginia 22046, Phone: (703) 241-7402.
