A big heartfelt hug to Gina, Richard, and Alex. Nonno was a beautiful, kind, and loving man. I am truly blessed to have known and shared many a laugh with him. His eyes would twinkle at the sight of chocolates. His quick smile would make all smile. The best pomodoro sauce ever was his (sorry Gina). Thinking of the bread basket brings tears of laughter. Green thumb extraordinaire with basil and tomatoes thriving under his care. Tearily, he will be missed in body, but not in the hearts of all those he touched, especially me. Tanit baci. Pace.

We love you very much and we loved Nono, had a gentle spirit and a mischevious sense of humor that was so infectious. We send you love and prayers.

We will so miss Papa’s impish smile and the twinkle in his eye when he found amusement from those around him. Also, the many long philosophical conversations we had together. (Okay, they were mostly limited to “How are you?” and “How is Lazio doing?” ) Nonetheless, it was a very special relationship full of love, good humor and good times. Papa was one of a kind and we will never forget him and always love him. Our hearts are with you; Gina, Richard and Alex.

  6. Gina says:

Thank you both so very much for your loving thoughts and prayers. We shall forever cherish all of the memories.
