Passed away peacefully on May 8, 2018 at the age of 89.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis of 66 years; three children and their spouses, Susan, Cindy, and Rick; three grandsons and three great granddaughters.
Born August 14, 1928, a native of Boston, MA, Dick pursued his love of flight, earning his pilot’s license before finishing high school. He served in the US Air Force for 20 years and enjoyed a career as a pilot and communications/electronics officer in assignments all over the globe. In a second career, Dick worked 27 years with Aeronautical Radio Incorporated (ARINC). Dick was very giving of his time and service; volunteering with several organizations including: Meals-On-Wheels for over 40 years, Lions Club, and the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
