Carrie was a very active member of Fairfax Community Church and Capital Baptist Church. While at Capital Baptist Carrie took on the extraordinary role of working with the youth. While under her tutelage the youth of Capital Baptist Church excelled at becoming better stewards of Christ’s love, they grew closer together as friends and grew as individuals. She inspired them to believe in themselves and one another. Throughout Carrie’s short life she always loved and encouraged the young children around her to grow and become what they were destined to become while on this earth. She inspired her loved ones with her strength of spirit, tremendous love of God, her never wavering positivity and her generously loving nature. She was greatly loved by all around her and will be greatly missed by everyone she touched.
